Mystery Author Autumn Doerr Loves Charles + Ray Eames
Visited the Eames House in Pacific Palisades with the LA Mills College Alumni. It’s very cool even if you: 1) need reservations, 2) there’s no sign on the road that leads to the property, and 3) you can see only the outside of the house. But, there are a lot of windows so you can get tantalizing interiors of this time capsule of a house. It’s possible to schedule a tour of the downstairs of the house and the unattached workshop but it’s pretty expensive. It is a worthwhile to

The Fifth Book that Changed Mystery Book Author Autumn Doerr’s Life
Now we come to one of the most important books of my life. The one that taught me how to be a person. It’s a book and a poet, e.e. cummings. They each have described roaming the City with their friends. Their parents worked hard and they were alone for part of each day. San Francisco can be explored on the underground and on busses so that’s what they did when th

Mystery Author Autumn Doerr Fav Podcast List
One fun thing to do this Labor Day is listen to podcasts. If you like podcasts, there are a dizzying number to chose from. The reason I’m starting a podcast with Emmy-Award Winning Producer Maria Notaras is that we love podcasts. My affection for them comes from a love of radio and the need for someone to be talking to me 24/7. These are my current favorites: Denzel Washington Is The Greatest Actor Of All Time Period Happier in Hollywood Pod Save the People The Memory Palace
