Visited the Eames House in Pacific Palisades with the LA Mills College Alumni. It’s very cool even if you: 1) need reservations, 2) there’s no sign on the road that leads to the property, and 3) you can see only the outside of the house. But, there are a lot of windows so you can get tantalizing interiors of this time capsule of a house. It’s possible to schedule a tour of the downstairs of the house and the unattached workshop but it’s pretty expensive. It is a worthwhile tour and, if you have the dough, the inside tour benefits this famous design house.
